A Romanian beer hit the headlines after a man claimed one can made him drunk.
35 year old Iancu Boroi wrote to Romania's Consumer Protection Office demanding they investigate the case.
He claimed he bought the beer at a local supermarket in Arges in southern Romania and became so drunk after drinking just one can that he nearly passed out.
He said: "I am more than capable of holding my drink and it is ridiculous to think one can of beer can get me so drunk.
"There must have been something wrong with it and I am demanding compensation."
No similar reports have been reported in the Dominican Republic
