Electricity theft has claimed another victim. Local police report that a student was electrocuted and killed while trying to steal an underground high-tension electricity cable in Sosua.
18 year old Yordaly José Mayi Arias apparently tried to cut the high-voltage cable with a machete, and was killed instantly.
Police were able to question several of his acquaintances who admitted that they were trying to steal cable to sell.
